Our leaders enjoy scouting. Most of our leaders are parents who have made cub scouts a part of their family life. It is during these times in our young cubs' lives that the times spent together are the most memorable.
I read an article sometime ago about the things that leave the most impact on young people's lives . The author, a well respected authority on childhood, stated that it was not the big, fancy vacations that left the greatest impact on children's lives. But, it was the genuine moments of regular routines (similar to our cub scout program) whereby the family, and extended family, continuous shared good moments. We'd like to think we are a part of these moments in our cubs’ lives and the lives of their families. 
If your young man loves having fun, getting outdoors and staying active, and is between the ages of 6 and 10, we surely have a place for him!
